Phomola Manor is an all exclusive Self Catering Holiday Home situated in a Big 5 reserve, Grietjie Private Nature Reserveand are part of Balule Nature Reserve, which means our reserve have open borders with the renowned Kruger National Park.

The name Phomola, was at a moment of deep conversation between two banded brothers, getting three sheets to the wind of course, thought off, thought through and decided that will be the name of our humble guest holiday home.” – Tom Venter
Phomola Manor is located on the banks of the Swartspruit in Grietjie Private Nature Reserve, a Big 5 reserve, and is part of Balule Nature Reserve within the Greater Kruger National Park.
Accommodation at Phomola is completely private and the Holiday Home consists of 4 air conditioned bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, coffee/tea facilities and daily housekeeping. All our bedrooms are fitted with soft percale bedding, a tv with streaming services and a mini fridge. Two of the bedrooms are inside the Manor for ease of entry to the kitchen and lounge and two bedrooms are semi-detached, fully private, leading out onto the deck area, pool and braai. Each room has a seating area to relax and enjoy the view. From within the rooms, views can be enjoyed of the pool, garden and the natural beauty of the bushveld.
Magnificent views can be seen of the Grietjie Mountain, natural bush habitat and sunset from the pool and at times, elephant herds, impala and giraffes can be seen crossing over the the dry river on their way to Phomola’s private waterhole where game can be seen quenching their thirst. At Phomola’s main entrance is our private waterhole, where guests can roam freely inside the fenced area, to view animals, and meander through the garden to enjoy some bird watching.
The hosts live on site, and are pleased to welcome and assist our guests upon arrival and during their stay.
The Manor includes a spacious open plan kitchen fitted with most electrical appliances to cook up a storm, dining table and if your planning to stay a little longer, a chest freezer is also available. An open plan lounge with sliding door that leads out to the braai and pool area.
After cooling down and watching the sunset, enjoy a late afternoon game drive and experience the nocturnal animals waking and the sounds of the night come alive. Back at home return to the braai area and start a relaxing fire, and as the night starts to settle in and you hear an jackal in the distance you might just hear a lion or two as well. Morning and afternoon game drives including a light snack and beverage available (3 Hour duration) at additional cost.
Phomola Manor is a self-sustainable holiday home as we are running off-the-grid and completely on solar. Our guests can enjoy their holiday without “Loadshedding”.

Enjoy an exhilarating 3 hour bush walk with our experienced FGASA registered guides where you can experience true nature on the ground. Every smell, sound and sight.
